    CRANBERRIES

Considered a superfood due to their high nutrient and antioxidant content.

    FRESH MEALS FAQs

    Packaging and shipping

    How are Fresh Meals shipped?
We ship our fresh-frozen food in recyclable, lined boxes with gel-packs and/or dried ice to ensure freshness and reduce our environmental footprint. For customers in Fairfield County, Conn., we offer free local delivery in reusable freezer bags.
Do you ship Fresh Meals nationwide?
Distribution for fresh-frozen meals is currently limited to a 2-day shipping zone from our headquarters in Connecticut. As we continue to grow, we look forward to expanding that area and providing the highest quality food to more dogs.

Here are the states we currently deliver to: Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin.
How do I store Fresh Meals?
Get Joy Fresh Meals will arrive at your door frozen, and can be stored in your freezer for up to four months. When you’re getting ready for mealtime, we suggest putting a few packs in the fridge and letting them defrost. After they’ve defrosted, packs can stay refrigerated for 3-4 days before feeding. Remember, this is fresh, human-grade food, so it needs to be stored the same way as what we eat.
Do I need to prepare Fresh Meals before feeding it to my dog?
No. The food is prepared and ready to eat. To serve it, simply tear the package open and scoop or pour it into a clean dish. We suggest letting packs thaw in your fridge overnight, but you can also defrost them more quickly by immersing, unopened, in hot or boiling water for 5-10 minutes – just make sure the food isn’t too hot before serving. We DO NOT recommend defrosting pouches in the microwave.
How do I transition my dog to Get Joy meals?
Most dogs need a little time to adjust to any new food, so we recommend transitioning over the course of a week to Get Joy’s new and better diet.
