Please read these Terms and Conditions of Use ("Terms") carefully before using this website. Accessing, browsing or using this website is a privilege subject to the following Terms and indicates your agreement and acceptance of these Terms. If you do not accept these Terms, do not use this website. Get Joy & Co. reserves the right to modify the Terms at any time with or without notice to you. Such changes are effective immediately upon posting on this Site and you are deemed to receive notice of such revisions at the time of posting, and are bound by any such changes to the Terms. Get Joy & Co. reserves the right to revoke any or all access and use authorizations granted to you in regard to this Site.
1. Services
The information contained on this website, including all web page documents, audio and video files, all data and all content (the "Site" or "Website") is provided for your use conditional upon your acceptance without modification of the Terms. This Website is owned and operated by Get Joy & Co. and its affiliates. Get Joy & Co. provides you with access to a variety of resources, including but not limited to product information and product purchasing (collectively "Services").
2. Use Limitation
While we encourage you to print information to help you shop, unless otherwise specified, no products or Services on this Site, including but not limited to the content of the Site, may be modified, copied, downloaded, transmitted, distributed, performed, reproduced, published, licensed, transferred, sold, used to create works from or used in any other way, except with prior written permission of Get Joy & Co. and with express attribution to Get Joy & Co. You may not alter or attempt to alter any material on the Site, or the Site itself. You also may not, without our permission, "mirror" any material contained on this Site or any other server. Any unauthorized use of any material contained on this Site may violate copyright laws, trademark laws, laws of privacy and publicity, and communication regulations and statutes. You represent and agree that you are at least 18 years of age, or that you are at least 13 years of age and are using this Site with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian. Minors under the age of 18 may not enter into a subscription agreement.
3. Subscriptions: Recurring Subscription Payments
By subscribing to a Get Joy subscription plan, you acknowledge and agree to the following before completing your purchase:

AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period (weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as otherwise specified during checkout) at the then-current subscription price, unless you cancel before the renewal date.

PRICE: The subscription price, delivery fees, and applicable taxes will be clearly disclosed on the checkout page prior to purchase. The price charged upon each renewal will be the price in effect at the time of renewal. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance of any price increase before it takes effect.

RENEWAL TERM: The length of your renewal period is the frequency you select at checkout (e.g., every 4 weeks). Your exact renewal date and price are displayed in the "My Account" section of our website.

MINIMUM OBLIGATION: There is no minimum purchase commitment. You may cancel at any time before your next charge date.

CANCELLATION: You may cancel your subscription at any time through the "Manage Subscriptions" section of your "My Account" page, or by contacting us at cares@getjoyfood.com. Your cancellation takes effect immediately upon submission. However, if your next order has already entered processing (which begins 6 days before your scheduled delivery date), that order will still ship and be charged. All subsequent orders will be canceled.
By initiating a subscription, you provide your express affirmative consent to these automatic renewal terms. You consent to allow Get Joy to save and utilize your payment method (e.g., credit card) to ensure continuous service. Applicable taxes will be calculated based on your billing address at the time of purchase.
CONFIRMATION: After subscribing, you will receive an email confirmation containing the subscription terms, the price to be charged, the renewal frequency, and instructions on how to cancel. Please retain this email for your records.
4. Automatic Renewal, Cancellation, and Material Changes
AUTOMATIC RENEWAL: By purchasing a Get Joy subscription, you understand that it will automatically renew at the frequency stated in your account settings. Your designated payment method will be automatically charged at the beginning of each new subscription cycle for the upcoming period's fees and applicable taxes.
CANCELLATION: You may cancel your subscription at any time, and your cancellation will take effect immediately upon submission. You may cancel by:

Online (available 24/7): Log in to your Get Joy account, navigate to "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions," and select "Cancel Subscription." Cancellations submitted online are processed immediately.

Email: Contact our customer care team at cares@getjoyfood.com. Your cancellation is effective on the date your email is received; we will send a confirmation email within 2 business days.
If your next order has already entered processing (which begins 6 days before your scheduled delivery date), that order will still ship and be charged. All subsequent orders will be canceled. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to your subscription benefits through the end of the current paid term.
REFUNDS: Charges incurred before a cancellation is processed will not be refunded in whole or in part, except as required by applicable law.
MATERIAL CHANGES: If we make any material change to your subscription — including a change in price or renewal frequency — we will provide you with clear and conspicuous notice at least 30 days before the change takes effect, sent to the email address on file in your account. You will have the opportunity to cancel before the change takes effect. Continued use of your subscription after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the modified terms.
FREE TRIALS AND PROMOTIONAL PRICING: If your subscription begins with a free trial, reduced-price introductory offer, or promotional discount, the length of the offer, the price to be charged after the offer ends, and how to cancel before being charged will be clearly disclosed at checkout. We will send you a reminder email before any free trial converts to a paid subscription.
5. No Unlawful or Prohibited Use
Please feel free to browse the Site; however, your access and use of the Site is subject to these Terms and all applicable laws. You may not use the Site in any manner that could disable, overburden, or impair any Get Joy & Co. server, or interfere with any other person's use and enjoyment of the Site, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any Get Joy & Co. server or to the Site, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through this Site. Your rights to use this Site may be further limited by federal law or the laws or regulations in your particular state or locality. Get Joy & Co., in its sole discretion, and at any time, may modify or discontinue the Site, or limit, terminate or suspend your use of the Site.
6. Ownership, Copyright and Trademark
You agree and acknowledge that Get Joy & Co. is the owner or licensee of all rights in this Site and the materials that appear on the Site and that you will not challenge those rights or do anything that might impair or damage those rights. This Site is protected by copyright, trademark and other laws of the United States and other countries. Any unauthorized use of any material on this Site may violate such laws. The trademarks, logos, and service marks used and displayed on this Site (the "Trademarks") are registered and unregistered trademarks of Get Joy & Co. and others. Under no circumstances may you use any of the Trademarks, whether owned by or licensed to us. Nothing on this Site should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademarks without the written permission of the Trademark owner.
If you make any copies of the Site, or portions of the Site, such copies must include the appropriate copyright, trademark, or other proprietary notices. No links may be established to any part of this Site and no information on this Site may be framed without our prior written approval. If you believe that any of your work was copied in a way that infringes your copyrights and is posted on this Site, please provide Get Joy & Co. with the following information: (1) a description of your work that you believe was infringed; (2) a description of the work believed to be infringing and where it appears on the Site; and (3) your contact information — name, address, telephone number and email address. 7. Duration of This Agreement
This Agreement will continue to be effective until you or we terminate it. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by destroying any and all materials you obtained from this Site and by ceasing to use the Site in any way. We may terminate this Agreement immediately and without notice if we, in our sole discretion, decide that you have failed to comply with any term or condition of this Agreement or if we decide to modify the terms and conditions governing future use of the Site.
8. Information Provided By You
We do not want you to, and you agree through the use of this Website that you will not send any confidential or proprietary information belonging to you or any other entity to us unless specifically requested by us. Any material information or idea you transmit to or post on this Site by any means will be treated as non-confidential and non-proprietary, and may be disseminated or used by Get Joy & Co. or its affiliates for any purpose whatsoever, including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products. Notwithstanding the foregoing, personal data provided to Get Joy & Co. through this Site will be handled in accordance with Get Joy & Co.'s Privacy Policy, which is available at www.getjoyfood.com/privacy, incorporated into these Terms and made a part hereof.
Any contact or communication which you may make with us or our employees via this Site must be for Get Joy & Co. business-related purposes and all such communications are property of Get Joy & Co., and subject to review and monitoring by us. You are prohibited from posting or transmitting to this Site any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, scandalous, inflammatory, pornographic, bigoted, hateful, vulgar, or profane material, or any other material that could give rise to any civil or criminal liability under the law. You understand that information transmitted over public networks may be accessed by third parties and Get Joy & Co. will not be liable for any such unauthorized disclosure.
Get Joy & Co. and its employees do not accept or consider unsolicited ideas, including ideas for new advertising campaigns, new promotions, new products or technologies, processes, materials, marketing plans or new product names. Please do not send any original creative artwork, samples, demos or other works. If, despite our request that you not send us your ideas and materials, you still send them, please understand that Get Joy & Co. makes no assurances that your ideas and materials will be treated as confidential or proprietary.
9. Third Party Content and Linked Sites
You acknowledge that the opinions and recommendations expressed or made available in this Site are those of the respective author(s) and are not necessarily those of Get Joy & Co. or endorsed by Get Joy & Co. This Site contains links to other sites created and maintained by other organizations, which may or may not be related to Get Joy & Co. These links are provided for your convenience and for reference only, and you agree that links do not imply that Get Joy & Co. is affiliated or associated with, or that any linked site is authorized to use any trademark, trade name, logo or copyright of Get Joy & Co. You understand that the linked sites are not controlled by Get Joy & Co. and different legal terms and privacy policies may apply. We are not responsible for linked sites. We reserve the right to disable links, but we are not obligated to do so.
10. Member Account, Password and Security
If any of the Services requires you to open an account, you must complete the registration process by providing us with current, complete and accurate information as prompted by the applicable registration form. You will choose a password and a user name. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account. Furthermore, you are responsible for any and all activities that occur on your account. You agree to notify Get Joy & Co. immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security of which you become aware. Get Joy & Co. will not be liable for any loss that you may incur as a result of someone else using your password or account, either with or without your knowledge. However, you could be held liable for losses incurred by Get Joy & Co. or another party due to someone else using your account or password. You may not use anyone else's account at any time without the permission of the account holder.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitations of Liability
Your use and browsing of this Site is at your sole risk. If you are dissatisfied with the Site or any of the materials on the Site, or with any of the Terms, your sole and exclusive remedy is to discontinue accessing and using the Site.

12. Jurisdiction, Governing Law, and Dispute Resolution
Governing Law and Venue. Get Joy & Co. operates and controls this Site (excluding linked sites) from its offices within the State of Connecticut, United States of America. You agree that the statutes and laws of the State of Connecticut, without regard to its conflicts of law principles, will apply to all matters regarding the use of this Site. You also agree to submit to the exclusive personal jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts in and for Connecticut with respect to such matters, except as otherwise required by applicable law or as set forth in the Binding Arbitration section below.
California Residents. Notwithstanding the foregoing, California residents retain all rights and remedies available under California law, including those described in Sections 18 and 19. Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any non-waivable consumer protection rights under California law.
Get Joy & Co. makes no representation that the Site or the materials displayed on the Site are appropriate or available for use in any other jurisdictions or countries. If you attempt to access, use, or download the materials from this Site from other jurisdictions, you do so at your own risk, and you are responsible for complying with the laws of other jurisdictions.
Binding Arbitration and Class Action Waiver. PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY — IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.
Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms, your use of the Site, or the purchase or use of any Get Joy products or Services (a "Dispute") shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA") under its Consumer Arbitration Rules then in effect, rather than in court, except that you may assert claims in small claims court if your claims qualify. The arbitration will be conducted by a single arbitrator and may be held remotely or, if an in-person hearing is required, in the state of your residence or another mutually agreed location. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this arbitration provision.
YOU AND GET JOY & CO. AGREE THAT EACH MAY BRING CLAIMS AGAINST THE OTHER ONLY IN AN INDIVIDUAL CAPACITY, AND NOT AS A PLAINTIFF OR CLASS MEMBER IN ANY PURPORTED CLASS, COLLECTIVE, OR REPRESENTATIVE PROCEEDING. The arbitrator may not consolidate more than one person's claims and may not preside over any form of representative or class proceeding. If a court finds the class action waiver in this paragraph unenforceable, then the entirety of this Binding Arbitration section shall be null and void, but the remainder of these Terms will remain in effect.
Opt-Out. You may opt out of this Binding Arbitration section by sending written notice of your decision to opt out to cares@getjoyfood.com within thirty (30) days of first accepting these Terms. Your notice must include your name, address, email address associated with your account, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other provision of these Terms.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an action in court to seek injunctive or other equitable relief for the alleged infringement or misappropriation of intellectual property rights.
13. International Users
Materials published at this Site may refer to products, programs or services that are not available in your country. Get Joy & Co. makes no representation that this Site or the materials at this Site are appropriate or available for use at locations outside of the United States and access to them from territories where their contents are illegal is prohibited. You may not use the Site or export information or materials at this Site in violation of the export or other laws, regulations, executive orders, decrees or other legal enactments or requirements of the United States or any other country. If you access this Site from a location outside of the United States, you are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.
14. Delivery Area
We may change our delivery zones at any time and without notice. To determine whether we deliver to a specified address, please enter an address into our signup process or email us at cares@getjoyfood.com.
15. Returns and Refunds
We do not accept returns of perishable products or opened items. Return requests on non-perishable, unopened items must be made within 2 weeks of receipt and must include all original packaging. We will issue a refund upon receipt of the returned items. Refunds may be made at our discretion in the event of any problems with the Products.
16. No Resale
Except with prior written permission of Get Joy & Co., the products ordered or delivered pursuant to these Terms of Service are provided to the respective customer solely for that customer's personal use. For avoidance of doubt, the customer is prohibited from distributing, reselling, or otherwise providing the products delivered pursuant to these Terms of Service to any third parties including, but not limited to, in any retail or online store. Customers may not change, remove or obscure any labels, plates, insignia, lettering or other markings that are on the products at the time of delivery.
In the event of any threatened or actual breach of this provision, Get Joy & Co. shall, in addition to any other remedies it may have at law and/or in equity, be entitled (without posting a bond) to injunctive relief to prevent any threatened or actual breach and/or to specifically enforce this provision.
17. Refer-a-Friend Program
As a Refer-a-Friend member (a "Referrer"), you are subject to Get Joy & Co.'s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (both available on our website), as well as the following additional Terms & Conditions for Get Joy & Co.'s Refer-a-Friend program:

Qualified Referral. A Qualified Referral is a qualified purchase made at www.getjoyfood.com by a person (a "Referred Customer") who arrives at our website by clicking your Refer-a-Friend program link. You are limited to one Qualified Referral for each Referred Customer; additional or repeat purchases by a Referred Customer do not count as additional Qualified Referrals.

Referred Customer. The Referred Customer and the Referrer cannot be the same person (e.g., by using a different email address).

Reward Payments. Rewards will be issued via discount codes that you can apply to your next subscription order or one-time purchase. As a Referrer, you are responsible for any and all tax liability resulting from Referral Rewards.

Eligibility. Eligibility is limited to individuals only. Get Joy & Co.'s Refer-a-Friend Program cannot be used by businesses for affiliate lead generation, as determined in Get Joy & Co.'s sole discretion.

No Spam. You must comply with all applicable anti-spam laws. Emails must be created and distributed in a personal manner and bulk email distribution is strongly discouraged. Any distribution of your referral link that could constitute unsolicited commercial email or "spam" under any applicable law or regulation is expressly prohibited and will be grounds for immediate termination of your account and exclusion from the Refer-a-Friend program.

Right to Close Accounts. Get Joy & Co. reserves the right to close the account(s) of any Referrer and/or Referred Customer and to request proper payment if the Referrer and/or Referred Customer attempts to use the program in a questionable manner or breaches any of these Terms & Conditions.

Right to Cancel Program or Change Terms. Get Joy & Co. reserves the right to cancel the Refer-a-Friend Program or to change these Terms & Conditions at any time in its sole discretion. Any unclaimed referral rewards will be forfeited at that time.
18. AI-Assisted Customer Service and Automated Data Collection
Our website uses an AI-powered virtual assistant ("Chat Assistant") to help customers with support inquiries, order lookups, subscription management, and general questions about Get Joy products.
18.1 Data Collected. When you interact with our Chat Assistant, it may request and collect the following categories of personal information:
- Email address — used to locate your Get Joy account, order history, and subscription details.
- Phone number — used as an alternative identifier to locate your account and, where you have opted in, to communicate with you regarding your order or subscription.
- Conversation content — the text of your messages, used to respond to your inquiry and, in aggregate anonymized form, to improve our service.
18.2 Purpose of Collection. We collect this information solely to: (a) identify and authenticate your Get Joy account for customer service purposes; (b) respond to your specific support inquiries; and (c) improve the accuracy and helpfulness of our automated support service.
18.3 Automated Processing. The Chat Assistant is powered by artificial intelligence and may provide automated responses without human review. For complex, sensitive, or time-critical issues, you may request escalation to a human customer care agent at any time by typing "speak to a human" or by emailing cares@getjoyfood.com.
18.4 Data Retention. Conversation logs are retained for up to 12 months to support customer service follow-up and service quality review. After this period, personally identifiable information is deleted or de-identified.
18.5 Sharing. Personal information collected through the Chat Assistant is not sold to third parties. We may share this data with our AI service provider(s) solely to operate the Chat Assistant, under contractual obligations of confidentiality and data security. We do not use Chat Assistant data for targeted advertising.
18.6 California Residents — CCPA/CPRA Rights. If you are a California resident, you have the following rights with respect to personal information collected through the Chat Assistant and otherwise through our Site:
- Right to Know: You may request disclosure of the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources of collection, the business purpose, and any third parties with whom we share it.
- Right to Delete: You may request deletion of personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions.
- Right to Correct: You may request correction of inaccurate personal information we hold about you.
- Right to Opt-Out of Sale/Sharing: We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of these rights.
To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us at cares@getjoyfood.com. We will respond within 45 days of a verifiable consumer request. We may extend this period by an additional 45 days where reasonably necessary, in which case we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it. 19. Additional Disclosures for California Residents
19.1 Automatic Renewal for California Subscribers. Pursuant to California Business and Professions Code §§17600–17606, Get Joy & Co. provides the following disclosures to California subscribers:
- Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each subscription period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
- The price charged upon each renewal will be the then-current subscription price disclosed in your account settings and in your confirmation email.
- If your subscription includes a promotional or discounted introductory price, the price you will be charged at renewal is the then-current standard subscription price, as disclosed at checkout and in your confirmation email.
- You may cancel at any time by logging in to "My Account" > "Manage Subscriptions" and selecting "Cancel Subscription." This online cancellation option is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and your cancellation takes effect immediately upon submission.
- You will receive an email confirmation of your subscription terms after sign-up. If you do not receive this email, please contact us at cares@getjoyfood.com.
- You will receive at least 30 days' advance notice before any material change to your subscription price or renewal terms takes effect.
- For any subscription with an annual or longer term, you will receive a reminder notice between 15 and 45 days before each renewal.
19.2 California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). California residents have specific rights regarding their personal information, as further described in Section 18 above and in our Privacy Policy at www.getjoyfood.com/privacy.
