This review is for both the 16-ounce and 32-ounce Great Joy Freeze Dried Chicken dog food. The packages are different weights but the dog food inside is identical.I have to admit I don't know very much about freeze-dried dog food or raw dog food. Mainly what I know is that my dogs absolutely love this stuff. If you have a picky eater or a dog that needs to gain weight, this Great Joy freeze-dried raw dog food may just be the ticket based on how much my dogs love it. It is fairly expensive so I am using it dry, as a mix-in with their regular dry dog food. I have had trouble getting my dogs on a regular morning/evening eating schedule; they would take a few bites and then walk away without finishing, then want to graze a bit here and there throughout the day. But now that they know they'll get some Great Joy raw freeze-dried bits, they are pawing at their empty bowls first thing every morning, begging for their breakfast. Then they eat all that's in their bowls so it is much easier for me to track the amount each dog has eaten. They repeat this pattern every evening -- and finally my dogs are on a regular feeding schedule!Overall my dogs absolutely love this dog food. I use it dry as a mix-in to supplement their regular food, and I also use it as a high-value training treat -- that how much they love it! I am pleased with the ingredients and quality, and it is wonderful ow much my dogs love it.
My picky chiweenie LOVES this food. I have tried every raw dehydrated brand and this is by far her favorite. She usually loses interest after a week but we are on our second BIG bag and she heads straight for her bowl. Phenomenal ingredients, hoping they add diff flavors. My dogs love them! I use them as treats becuaytheu are pretty extort a small bag.. with is half filled. I like all the ingredients for them too.

My medium/large dogs love this food. I like to use it for mixing into their bowls of kibble for a nutritional boost since full feeding would cost a bit more. Still see the benefits as a mixer and recommend!
Aero is a very picky, food-unmotivated dog, but he loves Get Joy. I use it as an ultra high-value reward for all his training - we do agility, Nose Work and he runs Fast CAT. While he turns his nose up for many delicious things including mozzarella cheese, Get Joy is his go-to!

I have a German Shepherd with a very sensitive stomach. I’ve been making his food since he was eight months old. This is the only kibbles he will eat and not bother his stomach.
Maple has been a picky eater and would leave her meals out all day. I switched her to Get Joy and she immediately eats her bowl after I set it out! Her poops have become noticeably firmer and she has a lot more energy.

My English Bulldog was experiencing allergic reactions to other food brands. After seeing Get Joy advertised on TV, I switched him to the Freeze Dried Beef Meal and within a few days his face, eyes and paws completely cleared up and his day to day playfulness increased dramatically.
Toby, a mini-Bernedoodle, just loves it and took to it from the first taste. He now gets up in the morning…does his business outside and run to the cabinet where I store the Get Joy. It is gone from his bowl in a matter of minutes. I am very pleased with the nutritional value the food is providing Toby!
My dogs both LIVE the beef food. We all feel better eating clean food. The best news is that one of our dogs has a very sensitive tummy, but tolerate this food immediately. Shipping slow. Highly recommend.

I’m really happy with this freeze-dried raw chicken meal. The quality is excellent, the pieces are easy to portion, and my dog gets so excited at mealtime. It’s very convenient to use, especially when traveling, and I feel good knowing I’m feeding something healthy.
Our boy Kodi absolutely loves his Get Joy Beef! We sprinkle (a lot!) on his dinner every night, and we also use it as reward treats when we play games like Hide & Seek.
We used to use another brand, but the ingredients in Get Joy are so much cleaner — and it’s a better value at a better price point. Highly recommend!

My fussy dog will eat this, she is allergic to chicken and this has no poultry. I just wish there was another non chicken option so I could rotate flavors. She no longer get has stomach issues!
Both our puppies love this as a topper. Our smaller dog refuses to eat until her Joy topper is on!!
