Picky Eaters

Q: Why won't my dog eat their food?

Picky eating is often about aroma, texture, and gut comfort. Highly processed foods can smell and taste flat. Get Joy's freeze-dried raw and fresh meals are rich in real-food aroma and flavor, and Belly Biotics™ supports the gut so eating feels good.

Q: What can I do to get a picky dog to eat?

Try our Freeze Dried Raw Booster or a freeze-dried topper to add irresistible aroma and whole-food flavor to any bowl. Warming or lightly rehydrating the food also boosts smell and appeal.

Q: Is it normal for dogs to be picky?

Some dogs are naturally selective, but sudden pickiness can signal a stomach or health issue. If appetite changes suddenly or comes with other symptoms, check with your vet.

Q: How long before a picky dog adjusts?

Many dogs take to real-food meals within a few days. Transition gradually over 7–10 days for the smoothest switch.

Q: Can I subscribe and save, and cancel anytime?

Yes. Subscribe & Save gets a lower price on every order plus free shipping over $75, and you can skip, change frequency, swap, or cancel anytime from your account.

Picky eaters usually respond to real meat, strong aroma and texture. Start with a topper on their current food or switch to a full bowl of freeze dried raw, backed by our Clean-Bowl Promise.

His dogs have devoured Get Joy for 3 years.
Then he invested in the mission.

“Our dogs have been devouring Get Joy for the past three years. So, rather than just continuing to order the food, I decided to invest and become an owner. I’m putting my money where their paws are.”
