As a strong believer in collaboration, she works with her colleagues at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists in Stamford, CT to create a wellness plan best fit for her patient.

After receiving her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and becoming board certified in oncology, Dr. Thalheim conducts clinical research, looking for ways to improve cancer outcomes in dogs, as well as humans!

He obtained his Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Cornell University before earning his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Georgia. In his advisory role to Get Joy, Dr. Levitzke collaborates closely with the company to develop strategies that intertwine preventative holistic dog wellness into daily routines. Together, we are diving into the profound impact of nutrition on dogs' overall health, emphasizing the incorporation of fresh, gut-healthy foods to minimize chronic canine illnesses while enhancing the well-being of our beloved companions.
