Tom founded Get Joy in 2018 after his Golden Retriever, Cooper, was diagnosed with terminal lymphoma. He spent two years working directly with veterinary nutritionists and PhD animal scientists to rebuild Cooper's diet around gut health — the research that became Get Joy's freeze-dried raw meals and the Belly Biotics system. Tom builds from firsthand experience as a dog parent — not as a veterinarian.
