Ingredients needed

½ cup canned pumpkin (avoid any pumpkin pie mixes or anything other than pure pumpkin) 

2 cups whole wheat flour 

2 tablespoons of peanut butter (without any artificial sweeteners like xylitol)

2 large eggs

½ teaspoon ground turmeric 

½ teaspoon ground ginger 

½ teaspoon ground cinnamon

½ teaspoon kosher salt (optional ingredient)

1 cup quick-cooking oats (you can also use 1-minute or old-fashioned oats)

Directions

First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Next, mix all of the ingredients in a bowl until you get an even texture. Then, fill a baking tray with small molds (into shapes and sizes of your liking) spaced apart since they will stick together. 

Bake in the oven for about 40-45 minutes until the biscuits appear hard. Finally, let them cool and reward your dog with a delicious treat. 

Super Simple Sweet Potato Dog Treats

Made with only four ingredients, this treat is one that no pup can resist. 

Ingredients needed

1 sweet potato 

2 ½ cups whole wheat flour 

2 large eggs 

¼ cup unsweetened applesauce 

Directions

First, preheat your oven to 350° F. Next, cook the sweet potato until tender. When cooled, peel the potato and scoop flesh into a bowl. After mashing it with a fork, mix the other ingredients to form a dough. 

Arrange small molds onto a baking tray and bake in the oven for about 35-45 minutes. Make sure to allow cookies to cool completely before serving them to your dog. 

Calming Treats for Dogs 

Take homemade dog treats to the next level with calming ingredients! Sweet Potato Calming Treats is a three-ingredient recipe that your pooch will surely enjoy. 

Ingredients needed

Plain yogurt 

Sweet potato puree

Natural peanut butter

Directions:

Mix all three ingredients in a blender until you get a smooth consistency. Pour the mixture into a freezing container or onto your puppy’s lick mat. Bon appetit!
