Dr. Lindsay Thalheim

With her goal in mind to improve the length and quality of life of her dog patients, veterinary oncologist Dr. Thalheim fosters close relationships with the pups and their families to provide the best care possible. As a strong believer in collaboration, she works with her colleagues at Cornell University Veterinary Specialists in Stamford, CT to create a wellness plan best fit for her patient.

After receiving her degree in veterinary medicine from the University of Pennsylvania and becoming board certified in oncology, Dr. Thalheim conducts clinical research, looking for ways to improve cancer outcomes in dogs, as well as humans!

Dr. Renee Alsarraf

After treating dogs with cancer for over two decades, Dr. Alsarraf’s world flipped upside down when she was diagnosed with cancer.

She shares her story, intertwined with those of her canine patients, in her incredibly successful book, “Sit, Stay, Heal”, which highlights life lessons we can learn from our dogs. Dr. Alsarraf says her job brings her joy when she is able to share with her readers and clients what dogs can teach us about living well.
