What’s the holiday season without pumpkin? These treats are a simple five-ingredient recipe that is sure to get your dog’s tail wagging.
- 1 cup Pumpkin Puree
- ⅓ cup of Peanut Butter- no xylitol
- 2 Eggs
- 2 cups Whole Wheat Flour
- Optional: ½ Cinnamon or Pumpkin pie spice. DO NOT use nutmeg if you decide to mix your own pumpkin spice, it can be toxic to some dogs.
Mix like sugar cookie dough and cut out in whatever shapes you want. This doggie bone cookie cutter set is a great way to avoid snack mix-ups with guests. Bake at 350F for 20-40 minutes depending on the size of the cookie and how crunchie you want it to be.
Peanut Butter Healthy Homemade Dog Treats
Most dogs go nuts for peanut butter. Spoil your dog with these crunchy, healthy treats baked just for them.
- 1 cup blueberries (you can choose fresh, frozen, or dried)
- ¾ cup Oats
- 2 ½ cups whole wheat flour
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbsp Peanut Butter
- ½ tsp ground cinnamon
- ⅛-½ cup warm water to adjust the texture of dough.
Smash the blueberries a little in the mixer before adding the oats. Add everything but the water and then slowly add the water until the dough makes a ball. Roll and cut like sugar cookies and cook at 350F for 40 minutes.
